I need to hand over the reins of HydroInsider.com to a few people that can do it justice. With my new position, I simply don't have the time to stay on top of things the way I used to. Maybe you've noticed.
So, here's your chance to step up and join the fun.
HELP WANTED:
Editor, HydroInsider.com
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Manage the content of HydroInsider.com with original reporting, results, links and items of interest to fans of Unlimited Hydroplane racing.
ABOUT THE SITE:
It's designed to be a sharing of information and a celebration of the sport and the people involved in it. It's not a gossip site and we limit the negativity. Think of it as pro-hydroplane racing, sponsor and business friendly.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Totally on your own time, but expect intense times on race weekends and in-season.
SALARY:
Just like most of the boat-racing community, you do it for the love, not the pay. It's unpaid. In fact, I've spent several thousand dollars out of my own pocket on technology, travel, internet connections, and webcasting. Most of that infrastructure is now in place.
REWARDS:
Lots of people will read and share the conversation with you. You'll make some life-long friends and you'll be one of the first to know what's happening.
Lots of people will see your work and depend on you. It's what's kept me going the last year. We just had our one-millionth visitors to the blog. It's kind of like the car odometer when it gets too high, the web counter has "rolled over" and started over at zero!
CONTACT ME:
If you're interested, contact me ASAP. I would like one person, who will be obsessed with the site, the sport and the info - that's what it takes. But I also think it would be great to have a handful of contributors to provide different articles and perspectives. We've had several during the past year and it's made a big difference.

Hey guys, any info on when Kaylee Perkins is going to get a ride in an unlimited. I think she has proven herself in the lights, the sport needs a boost and Kaylee would be it. Thanks
