Evansville poll has some fans mad

A current on-line poll being conducted by one of the Evansville TV stations has some hydro fans hopping mad.

"Evansville media needs to take some of the blame as well to this current situation," said HydroInsider.com contributor Mike Fetscher. As a former TV person, Fetscher has a few unkind words about the TV news folks.

Storm Warning: Freedom Festival pullout puts Thunder in jeopardy

Evansville Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel said Saturday in the Courier & Press that the Freedom Festival "is going to be all right" in the future. Weinzapfel declined, however, to address plans for the festival's signature events, Thunder on the Ohio and Thunder Air, or say if the festival will be run by another group.
