This is another view of the final and the last seconds of the score-up period. Not sure it sheds any additional light on the penalty call against the U-37. You be the judge.

I think a healthy debate about rules, the way a race is officiated, or thoughts on the future of hydroplane racing is a good thing. But lately, it's become a contest to see who can out-shout someone else on the comment section of this blog.
Please keep it civil. Keep it clean. And take the high road. If you're going to resort to name calling, go do it somewhere else.
I have spent way too much time working on this blog and HydroInsider.com to see it hijacked by a few people who anonymously post trash. The others who have contribute here and civilly discuss issues here deserve better. I don't want to have to disable comments - often the best info comes from there - but I will be forced to do so if it doesn't end.
And, regardless of how you feel about ABRA, the officials, or any drivers, teams, etc., let's stop the name calling right now. And to whoever felt the need to post Sam's personal email and cell phone number, that's way out of bounds. C'mon, guys. We're better than this.

From Karl Fortner with this note:
Chevrolet Cup at Seafair, Lap 2 of Heat 2A
David Bryant, charging hard down the front stretch and into turn one tangled with a roller at the apex of the turn. KIRO-7 video shows that he never fully inverted in the air and the boat was rolled over in the water from the impact.
Thanks, Karl!
