The winds of Detroit

For what it's worth, the winds whipped up in Detroit on Monday as well... probably not conducive to any racing. By mid-morning, gusts were at 17mph and by earlier afternoon they were in the 21mph+ range.

Sunday's top winds were gusting at 32mph, but most of the time they were gusting between 20 and 30mph.

After teh U-7 flipped in Heat 3A at Detroit, Ron and Scott Roman went up and over when their two-man Super Cat Lite boat, Motley Crew, flipped at Detroit. They were OK and refused treatment.

After these two incidents, racing at the Gold Cup was cancelled.
