100 th gold cup! I am in Seattle, I have a tremendous respect for the show that Detroit is putting on. It is a crime that the organizing body does not have this great experience avalable to the rest of us. Sorry, 'streaming audio' doesn't cut it anymore. This is a wonderful sport. The sport needs to get ahead of the issues facing it. We can't blame it on Bernie anymore. Chip did a test on Lk. Wa. this week. Erik and Co. are being proactive. Thoughts?
PS- Thank you so much for Max & JAK last weekend (Streaming Video!)

Great coverage so far amongst all the contributors, blogs, websites, etc... With the technology today, everyone needs to be looking forward and coming up with ways to "Get The Word Out" both written and visual! If we all do our part, be it on a small scale or large, the sport can't help but grow. You are right in "We can't blame it on Bernie" anymore. Whether you agree or disagree with that, it is the past and we need to move forward, both the ABRA and the race venues. There are new & old teams/owners out there doing just that, moving forward, being creative, looking for ways to keep this sport going.
I have to wonder now that the debris & bouys have settled down in Madison & Evansville, what have those sites & the ABRA done yet, as of today, to learn from the past, make it success in the future, and a place where teams, owners, and racers want to go and have a safe successful race next year. Have they done anything about addressing the problems recently or have they put everything away and will just "wait for next year" and hope/wish it works out OK???? hmmm???
Enough of my soapbox for now!!! Here's To A Continued Safe & Successful Gold Cup!!! Keep those pics, videos, and updates coming!
