Navy sponsors hydros, not NASCAR

|

They put their money into sponsor Greg O'Farrell's U-50 Spirit of the Navy hydroplane, but the Navy is pulling out of NASCAR sponsorship.

This is the type of sponsorship we need... Any and everyone should make some type of effort to get the word out to your own local NAVY recruitment offices and let them know you are aware of and support the U-50 Spirit of the Navy hydro. David Williams, Greg O'Farrell, and the Go Fast,Turn Left Racing team are to be commended for their effort in getting the NAVY on board!

Hey this nothing new, I have a 1972Bill Muncey Atlas Vanlines Go Navy poster hanging in my garage. Makes more sense for the Navy to sponsor a boat then a Ford Tarus race car.

It's good for the U-50 but surprising to me because we all have to admit here that the NAVY will get alot more exposure on the side of a NASCAR car than it will an ABRA Unlimited.

TV coverage and merchandising alone would be 10 fold minimum!!JMO

Get it while its good, because they will pull the carpet out when you least expect it, and have a lot of equipment you havent paid for
